Wedding Manager


We’re looking for a Wedding Manager to join our growing team at Hampton Court Castle! This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised individual who’s passionate about creating extraordinary weddings in a stunning historic venue.

About the Role

As a Wedding Manager, you’ll guide your couples through every step of their wedding journey, from the initial booking to the big day itself. Working within the Wedding Team, you’ll be responsible for planning and delivering a collection of weddings at Hampton Court Castle. We host both local and international destination weddings, offering a truly unique experience in a beautiful setting. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis so please apply early.

Key Details

  • Pay: £27,000 – £30,000 per year
  • Location: Hope under Dinmore, Herefordshire HR6 0PN
  • Hours: Full-time with a variable schedule, including weekdays and weekends
  • Deadline: 1st December 2024 (applications considered on a rolling basis)
  • Interviews: In-person interviews on 4th & 6th December 2024
  • Start Date: January 2025

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate a collection of weddings from booking through to delivery
  • Conduct show-rounds and planning meetings, both in-person and virtually
  • Accurately updating key information for each event using our bespoke wedding system
  • Manage suppliers and venue teams throughout each event
  • Take responsibility for wedding day operations, ensuring seamless execution on the day

Essential Requirements

  • Highly Organised: Exceptional attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal skills, able to build rapport with couples, suppliers, and team members
  • Responsible & Confident: Capable of leading small teams and taking responsibility on event days
  • Proactive Problem Solver: Able to handle unexpected challenges with confidence and think independently
  • IT Proficient: Comfortable with spreadsheets, willing and able to learn new systems (e.g., wedding management system, CRM etc)
  • Event Experience Preferred: Previous events or hospitality experience is ideal, but full training will be provided for the right candidate
